Commissioned for the restaurant Voit. Over a period of six months, more than 350 pieces were made from wheel-thrown porcelain with transparent glaze. Simple, timeless, elegant. The shapes vary from sake cups and large dinner plates with high rims to the coveted cloud plate. My personal favorites were the small plates on which cheese and dessert are served. I appreciated the whole process of this wonderful collaboration that took place during the awful times of lockdown in 2021.
After closing in 2023, the restaurant is now called frieda and is run by a new team. The plates remain in use.
